As mentioned elsewhere on the website, “Shambhalla is said to be the synchronising and governing ‘inner centre of all centres’ and the seat of cosmic and planetary powers.  In the Tibetan Buddhist Kalachakra and in Hindu traditions, in legends of old, Shambhalla is a pure land, a City of Light, a mythical kingdom – perhaps in Tibet or on the etheric plane above the Gobi desert, but deep always in the Heart of the seeker, shining like a diamond lotus– and understood to be a “place of peace, tranquillity, happiness”. In Shambhalla, inhabitants are enlightened, have mastered technology, their minds and bodies, and live in illumined peace, prosperity and wisdom.

“For our times, we may also view ‘Shambhalla’ as the out-picturing of the incoming Golden Age of an Ascended Humanity and Earth – a Heaven on Earth being now birthed on the road to Universal Consciousness in these last months of the spiritual evolutionary blueprint that is the Mayan Calendar. It is an out-picturing long-anticipated, prophesied and intimately connected with Earth and Humanity as part of an unfolding Divine Plan and Evolutionary Agenda, and known at the deepest levels of our beings.  As change intensifies and sweeps the Earth, Shambhalla rises and becomes visible again as ideal and guiding light.”

And so just two months now before we ascend to the 9^th and final level of the Mayan Calendar that is the Universal Consciousness on the 9^th March, we experience the ongoing disclosure and stripping away of the duality, us-and-them, abstractions, structures, categorisations and separation-consciousness generated by the left brain in the last 5,000 years.  What has been the left-brain interpretation of ‘reality’ is slipping.   And this is happening in numerous areas of our lives, in numerous ways.

In the state of Queensland in which I live in Australia, we have been undergoing devastating floods that have seen loss of life; cities, towns, homes and possessions destroyed; food and fuel supplies, transport and industry stopped dead.  75% of the state has been affected, and correspondingly also, 1/5^th of the nation’s economy.  At the time of writing, floods are continuing to cripple and devastate southern parts of Queensland, but are now also affecting the states of New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia, with accompanying cyclone warnings and evacuations occurring in numerous areas.  (And as many of you would also be aware, torrential rains and landslides have sliced through towns near Rio de Janeiro, resulting in hundreds of lives lost.)

Although much has struck me at core levels throughout these unfolding events, one of the comments that struck me this morning as I listened to another news report is that the barriers that would normally separate the various state and national emergency organisations, the Red Cross, government departments, St Vincent de Paul and more….have dissolved.  The organisations and groups are simply working together, as one, with the challenging tasks at hand to clean and to rebuild.  Volunteers and ‘armies of people’ are pouring in from everywhere…so much so that the agencies cannot keep up.  As our Premier, Anna Bligh, said:  “People are bonding together” – and this bonding is assisting recovery and morale in the face of such shock and loss of life and infrastructure.  A commentator said on the evening news as I was writing this post:  “I’ve never seen anything like this in Australia…there’s like this extra special life force…don’t know why we can’t be like this all the time.”

What we can expect as the year progresses is not only the already-forecasted catastrophic weather to continue worldwide, but also the continued removal of the old order that kept/keeps us separate – whether politically, financially, socially, galactically and otherwise.  This outdated order and the old comfortable categories belong to the past as the way is prepared for the New Earth and our movements into the deepest levels of unity, intuition, connection and knowing as fully conscious, co-creators beings and caretakers of the Earth.

We have the opportunity to make the shift to Universal Consciousness – reflected and anticipated in the Gift to Humanity from the Source that is the 9^th and final Level of the Mayan Calendar.  At the Universal Level, the egoic filters of old will no longer block Divine Light and Love, if we have cleared and let them go.  Our current ‘tasks’ are to continue to release these filters so that Vision and Light and Love will flood into our hearts, minds, bodies and lives unimpeded – and bring the restoration, renaissance and peace that ends dominance, control, warfare, fear and tyranny in all their forms.  We each have the opportunity to live as Conscious, Enlightened, Sovereign Beings with one another, the Earth, the Cosmos.

We are in a process now of dematerialisation…….loosening our grips of 5-senses-only, linear perception.  We are seeing we are not our roles, our possessions, our bank accounts.  (Paradoxically, of course, once we have truly let these go, they return to us because we are renewed by Love.)  We are seeing and feeling how we are connected to everything that exists, and that what we focus on – matters.

Shambhalla historically rises always as a beacon of inspiration in times of chaos and distress, or when we have lost our ways in being far too focussed on the material to the exclusion of Sacred Relationship with all.  It arises out of the ancient depths of the unconscious as guide to the Alchemical Door Within, to Holistic Perception, to Unity and to Perfected Alignment with the Source. It streams into the individual and into the collective as the highest manifestation of the Light, and as the perfected outplaying of Divine Will and Divine Love for an incoming Golden Age.
